Growing Saturday!
Thursday, November 25th, 2010Last Saturday Mrs Cartwright was joined by some kind parent helpers and pupils to help dig our new allotment area. They took part in composting, moving our raised beds, preparing new vegetable beds and plenty of digging! We are now almost ready for the new growing season, and will hopefully have a bumper crop next year!
Fireman Sam!
Monday, November 22nd, 2010Reception children enjoyed a visit from Fireman Sam last week! They learnt all about how fire engines work and even got to try out the hose! They were given the chance to explore the fire engine and see some of the equipment fire fighters use to put out fires.
Multi-Cultural Awareness Week
Thursday, November 4th, 2010The whole school has been taking part in a range of activities this week for Multi-Cultural Awareness week. They really loved moving round the school and spending time in different classrooms to learn all about the culture and customs of other contries including: Latvia, Japan, America, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Greece and France!
