Wednesday, June 29th, 2011As part of our Writing Week, some lucky Year 2 children were chosen to attend a special event at Greystones School, where they were able to meet Henry Winkler and hear him read out some of his stories.
Victorian Visits
Wednesday, June 29th, 2011Year 2 children have been learning all about Victorians! Both Lions and Tigers visited Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and Springfield School’s Victorian Classroom. Take a look at some photos from their visit:

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011Congratulations to Mrs. Hanif and family who welcomed a new baby boy into their family yesterday at 12.30pm. Mrs. Hanif and her lovely new baby are making good progress & we wish them all the best!
Arts Week
Wednesday, June 8th, 2011We had a fantastic Arts Week this year! The children took part in lots of musical, dance and craft activities throughout Arts Week at the end of May. We had musicians playing cello’s, guitar’s, flute’s, accordion’s & banjo’s, we had artists in helping us to make Willow Sculptures and Papier Mache masks, we learnt Street Dance, and we learnt all about African Tribal Dancing from ‘African Ark’!
