Conrad Burdekin
Tuesday, January 31st, 2012We were visited by fantastic children’s author Conrad Burdekin on monday. Conrad worked with the children creating super hero stories and gave some great story writing tips. The children will be doing follow up work this week and producing their own amazing stories!
Space Talk!
Thursday, January 12th, 2012Year 2 children have been learning about space from Astronomer Dennis Ashton. As part of the Space topic this term, Year 2 took part in an interactive learning talk where they learnt about our Solar System, measured distances from Earth to other stars & planets, created their very own planet and used 3D glasses to study space in more detail!
Santa Visit!
Friday, December 16th, 2011Our children were lucky enough to have a visit from Santa himself on Thursday! Each class received a fantastic present which will be put into the classroom for the children to share.
Nativity!
Wednesday, December 14th, 2011Well done to all the children for their hard work and effort during rehearsals for this years performances. All 3 concerts were spectacular! We hope you enjoyed watching them as much as the children enjoyed performing them!
Christingle
Tuesday, December 13th, 2011We enjoyed a lovely Christingle service at Ecclesall Parish Church last Friday. The children made some fantastic Christingle oranges and sang some hymns. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and carers who joined us.
Young Voices
Saturday, December 10th, 2011Our school choir performed magnificently at Sheffield Arena for the Young Voices concert. We were very proud of all the children representing our school, and would like to say thanks to all the parents who came along to support their children.
Christmas Workshops
Friday, December 9th, 2011We all had a fantastic time last week at our Christmas Workshops. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and carers who came along to help out. The children have made some wonderful Christmas decorations – take a look at the photos below!
